Enquiries are taken across Central Coast Council's area. Fifteen suburbs have a page of their own; the rest, Gosford included, are covered without one.

The pages run from Umina Beach and Woy Woy in the south, through Green Point and Kincumber on Brisbane Water, to Terrigal and Wamberal on the coastal lagoons. North of there they follow the Tuggerah Lake side through Bateau Bay, Killarney Vale and Berkeley Vale, then on to Gorokan, Hamlyn Terrace, Blue Haven and Lake Munmorah. Narara and Wyoming sit inland, north of Gosford along Narara Creek.

One council, several waterways
Every suburb here is in Central Coast Council's area, so the same pollution rules apply in each. Where the drains lead is what differs. Most of the southern suburbs drain to Brisbane Water, Terrigal and Wamberal sit on Terrigal Lagoon, and the northern suburbs drain to Tuggerah Lake and the Northern Lakes. Each suburb page names its own waterway where Council's records do.
Suburbs without a page
A suburb without a page is not excluded. Pages exist where the public record gave us something true about that suburb to write, and enquiries from the rest of the council area are referred on in the same way.
