Pressure Cleaning in Hamlyn Terrace
Hamlyn Terrace has been built up since the early 1990s, so the cleaning here is mostly the surfaces of newer homes: concrete driveways, rendered walls and paved outdoor areas.

Pressure Cleaning around Hamlyn Terrace
Council's contributions plan for the Warnervale district describes Wadalba, Woongarrah and Hamlyn Terrace as a greenfield residential area that has been developing since the early 1990s, and a later floodplain study calls Warnervale and Hamlyn Terrace growth areas for the region. The houses are correspondingly recent.
Render streaks where water runs off sills and roof edges, and a wide driveway on a newer home shows tyre marks and mould spotting where cars stand. Both clean well, the driveway at pressure and the render more gently. Homes built from the early 1990s are less likely to contain asbestos than older ones, though no page can rule it out for a given house.
Permits and Central Coast Council rules
Much of the Warnervale area, Hamlyn Terrace included, drains west through Woongarrah Creek to Porters Creek Wetland, where overland flows from upstream converge before the creek joins the Wyong River and runs into Tuggerah Lake. Detergent-laden runoff from a Hamlyn Terrace driveway follows that route to the lake, and placing it where it will reach a drain can be an offence under section 120 of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 (NSW).
